tRANSELEMENt 22 February 2002 The Bivouac, Lincoln Jay, Karl and Mark are three 22 year olds from Nelson, Lancashire. Previously known as EleMenT, they have been together as a band since '94. As EleMenT, they released 'Sourblaster' on Creeping Bent records and did two legendary sessions for John Peel. This live recording has been released to help promote their latest album 'Ouaqui Paetes', which is available NOW on mp3.com. I know it's a cliche, but for WAY too long now they have been the best- kept secret of the British underground. Hopefully this stunning live recording will change all that. It was recorded onto digital Hi-8 tape before being mixed down to a CDR, digitally ripped, encoded to .SHN files and pumped round the world for your listening pleasure. It will be tree'd alongside a Video CD called 'From the Video Incubator Phenomenon' which features live footage, promo vids, stupid stuff and footage of them playing on the BBC. You're probably after a description of what they sound like now. I'd suggest you check out some of the MP3s on the net and then when you hear them you'll realise why that is such a difficult question. I've created printable CD covers for this live set. They should be in the same directory as this file, but if not then you can download them from http://groups.yahoo.com/group/transelement/files/ . The track listing is: 1. Marlyborne Rusk 2. Light Vessel Automatic 3. Turban Paper 4. Double Bionic 5. Have Ye Heard? 6. Delta Wing 7. Cracked Old Cupboard 8. Biddy Pictures Check out tE.s homepage at http://go.to/transelement/ or you can contact the band at transelement@hotmail.com Thanks for listening!
